Dearden Search and Selection are delighted to introduce these half-day interactive workshops run in partnership with the Faculty for Medical Leadership and Management as part of their ‘Essential skills’ course series.
Assessing leadership skills and values at interview
The recruitment of clinical leaders with the right leadership skills and values has become a critical issue. The implications of making the wrong selection decision are serious. This half day workshop is for those responsible for appointing clinical leaders and is designed to build skills and knowledge in assessing leadership capability and values.
The workshop will be fast paced and highly interactive and provides a safe environment for you to practice new skills and explore the real challenges you face in appointing clinical leaders with the right skills. If there are particular issues you wish to explore, we will be happy to receive these and introduce them anonymously. Please send in any requests by email to Sarah Banton.
Through the workshop, you will be able to:
- Understand and develop skills and knowledge in assessing leadership capability and values
- Apply this practically in a mock panel interview
